"Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."

FREECYCLE™ MEMBERS USE FREECYCLE GROUPS AT THEIR OWN RISK. Please take reasonable measures to protect your safety and privacy when posting to group lists or when completing a direct gifting with another member. By joining a Freecycle list, you agree to hold neither list owners and moderators, nor anyone affiliated with The Freecycle Network responsible or liable for any circumstance resulting from a Freecycle-related gifting or communication.

Thank you for your interest in The Freecycle Network™. We have been a hot topic in the media. We truly appreciate the attention as it certainly accounts for an important part of our tremendous growth. If you are looking for media contact info and tips please read the Media Info.

After joining your local group, to post a message, send an email to your local group's yahoo address or click on "messages" at the local Freecycle group web site. You can find your local group by clicking here and locating your group according to the region where you live.

YAHOO: To unsubscribe, send an email to the unsubscribe address noted at the bottom of each e-mail from your local group. It'll look something like this blahblahblah-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com (this of course is not an actual unsubscribe address).

MY.FREECYCLE: To unsubscribe from the Freecycle.org live group, please visit http://my.freecycle.org Login with your username and password and click the "My Groups" tab.

From there, click on the "settings" button for the group, then click on the Leave this group button. This will unsubscribe you from the local group.

If you wish to leave Freecycle completely, please continue to remove all the local groups under your My Groups tab until you are a member of "zero" groups, then click on the MyInfo tab and then click on delete account to remove your Freecycle account membership.

To post, read or reply to messages or to manage your membership settings (including email delivery options), visit your local Freecycle group site.
