Coronavirus Update: Freecycle is a global community, and right now our community is under threat from a global pandemic. While we remain committed to reducing waste and keeping items out of the landfill, our main concern is the health and well-being of our members. We ask all members to practice extreme care when participating in Freecycle.
Specific requirements may vary by region, but the following apply for all Freecycle groups:
- Individual posts may be locally moderated to assure that they comply with all governmental requirements.
- All Freecycle transactions should be conducted with physical distancing of at least 6 feet.
- Please don't offer items or respond to offers if you are ill or under quarantine for illness or for exposure to a known source of the virus.
- Please remember to disinfect items when leaving or picking up.
