The way editing works is:

  • People see the last "stable" (i.e. official) version.
  • Mods can make changes, but they don't affect what's displayed until they're approved.
  • You can see a list of pages that haven't been approved here. For each page, you can click on History and then Compare selected versions to see the changes.
  • Only selected people have the rights to approve changes.
  • Once you've approved a page then it becomes the new stable version which people see.

It is possible for people to find the latest unapproved version, if they hunt around, but it's clear that's what it is, and you have to look for it rather than stumble across it.
