The recruiting letter for new moderators asks people to specify their level of involvement in other Freecycle groups.  It doesn't mention that one can only be a moderator of one group at a time, and by not doing so I would think that it actually encourages existing mods to get involved in other local groups.&lt;br /&gt;

On a related note, why does Freecycle have this policy?&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
